I’m Jack Oliver, a dedicated ultra runner, mountaineering instructor, and Running coach based in the stunning Lake District.
My journey through running and adventure sports has been shaped by a love for the outdoors and a relentless pursuit of personal growth.
With over a decade of experience in long-distance endurance running, I have tackled some of the biggest runs and climbs in the UK, honing my skills and resilience in diverse and challenging environments.
As a Mountaineering Instructor, I hold the Mountaineering Instructor Award, which allows me to guide and teach others in the art of climbing and navigating the mountains safely. I am also a proud member of the Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team, where I have the opportunity to apply my skills in real-world situations, helping those in need in the rugged landscapes I love.
Beyond the UK, I have traveled to incredible locations such as Nepal and the UAE, where I’ve immersed myself in different cultures and explored varied terrains, further broadening my understanding of endurance sports and adventure.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences with others, whether you are just starting your running journey or looking to tackle your next big challenge. My coaching philosophy revolves around creating personalized training plans that cater to your unique circumstances, strengths, and aspirations.
I have successfully helped individuals across all fitness levels prepare for some of the toughest races and climbs in the UK.
With a background as a Level 3 Personal trainer based out of Pure gym Kendal and a UESCA Running Coach, I bring a science-backed approach to training, ensuring that you receive comprehensive support and guidance. Together, we will work to develop your skills, boost your confidence, and help you reach your full potential as a runner and adventurer. Let’s embark on this journey together and run strong!
